ACI supports TTU to train rural medical practitioners

The Technical Training Unit has entered into a partnership with ACI Pharmaceuticals Ltd., under ACI’s cor- porate social responsibility programme to provide refresher training to 1,800 Rural Medical Practitioners (RMPs) over a period of three years. Some of the training topics included approach to diagnosis of diseases, primary manage- ment of common medical diseases and the rational use of drugs.

 

Training of the first batch was held 9-13 March at the Mohakhali campus. Chief Operating Officer Ms. Ingrid Renaud inaugurated the opening session with the hope that this training will improve the service delivery capacity of the health professionals.

 

 

At the end of the course, ACI  Chief Operating Officer Mr. Mohib- uzzaman presented certificates to the participants. “With the updated knowledge and skills, these RMPs will be in a better position to deliver quality medical care to the people in rural Bangladesh.”
